We have limited space for the institute, and last year we were unable to accomodate all who wanted to attend.
Conference information
The Iowa 1:1 Institute (I11I) is a grass-roots conference focused on robust, technology-infused P-12 learning and teaching with laptops, netbooks, and other computing devices. The Institute is collaboratively sponsored by the school districts in Iowa with 1:1 computing programs and is coordinated by CASTLE, the nation's only academic center dedicated to the technology needs of school administrators. Last year we had over 1200 attendees in our second year of existence. This year we anticipate between 500 and 1500 attendees, all of whom are interested in powerful learning technologies for students and educators.
Cost to vendors
There is a flat fee of $500 to be a vendor at the institute.
What do vendors get for their $500?
Each vendor will be given a draped/skirted vendor table, and high-speed wireless Internet access. A phone line costs an additional $150. Additional electricity or other needs will incur additional charges. The vendor fee will also include the registration fee for up to three individuals for each booth.
Please note that we are not initially giving session slots to vendors. Since this is a grass-roots conference intended to facilitate co-learning across school organizations, session slots are reserved for educators teaching other educators. Last year we did end up having room for vendor sessions, but we will make that decision once participants have had a chance to sign-up.
I'd like to be a vendor at the institute! How do I sign up?
